This is actually a good starter pack for guys who somewhat find the rum scene cool but face one slight issue - disliking all these "classics" like Zacapa, Diplomatico, Riise etc. as too bittery or strong; sweet & cheap "gateway drugs" like Tripulante can be a good opener to gain some experience and ultimately upgrade to "mature" rums.

Kořeněný rumový elixír chutnající po medu, vanilce a sušeném ovoci. Sladší s dlouhotrvajícím koncem. Díky 34% alkoholu bude jedna lahev málo.

After opening the bottle, the smell was just pure alcohol. Fortunately, after having this bottle laying rest for half a year in my closet, the smell actually become pleasant, reminding me of some cheaper Venezuelan rums - raisins, nuts, honey, leather. The taste is simple and heavily sweetened by plain sugar, with tones of honey, raisins and over-the top sugar. The aftertaste is sugar, with a prolonged peppery afterburn which is surprising for such a sugar bomb - the underlying rum base must have been really fiery as the sugar content is 80gpl+ (my guess). The price is low though - passable as a budget sweet liqueur.
