The rum is very subtle, with hints of banana and citrus.

Not a common Caroni, just a light Trinidad rum, too expensive 7 out of 10

It's verly light in the nose (like a 10y old Barbados rum, the flavours are not typical Caroni). The taste is better, but it's still not a typical Caroni.
I like the 17y old Caroni from Bristol much more, the nose is 1000% better.
Felicite Gold has some Trinidad aromas like medicine in the taste, but there is still not enough dirty aromas. I would not drink it for the price tag. 130€ is way too much.
Maybe it's not bad to know what rum Caroni has produced in the early days.
There are still some bottles of Bristol 17y Caroni for 90€ on the market. Buy them, next years they will be hard to get.
Smell: coconut, vanilla, citrus, oak, gum, some dark fruit like plum (if you expected dirty aromas, I must disappoint you).
Taste initial/middle: slightly tar, dark fruit, medicine, salt, citrus, liquorice, bitterness
Finish: short, spice, citrus, salt, medicine, liquorice
