Venezuela | Aged | 40% ABV

Santa Teresa 1796 rum is produced in Venezuela and aged using the solera system that blends rums aged between 4 and 35 years. Before bottling, the rum is aged for a further year in large French oak casks to marry the blends.

Lovely rum, with Good spice and a heavy bottom. Not too sweet. Add a sprink og Water, and The flavours comes to Life.

This round and firm-bodied rum is delicate with a complex and mellow flavor. It is best enjoyed on its own. Color: Reddish amber. Nose: Fruity aroma with honey and dark chocolate notes. Taste: With a mellow yet complex flavor, this rum offers tobacco and leather notes, toasted and It is full-bodied while remaining delicate, elegant and velvety. The end evokes attributes borrowed from the oaks in which it aged.

Good rhum, A bit too harsch on alcohol on the end, butn complex flavour.

Good for sipping, would be awesome in a mix if not overpowered; deserves to remain the main ingredient.

Santa Teresa 1796 is smooth solera rum, I would say, with very intensive butterscotch and caramel taste. Of course, many other tones, spices such as vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Anyways, I think this rum is something you have to taste, at least once, just because of the awards and claim of the best rum in the World.

Butter, oak, vanilla, caramel, all the good flavors of rum while being smooth and not having a ton of added sugar. If you dont like this then you dont like rum IMO. Delicious and impressive.

Great rum! A little bit strong for my taste at first, I drink it with some ice and a piece of lime and it makes it smoother and easier to drink. If you haven't tried it yet go for it, its definitely worth it.

Bought this at a restaurant out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised.

Just the right balance between sweet and bitter with a nice after glow. Taste unfortunately doesnt last too long but a minor negative point.
