Kupil som ho na skusku za 12 eur, ale nakoniec, sa mu potesila manzelka, ked ho pouziva ako prisadu do pecenia :)

At around the same price as Hong Thong (not much in it, a couple of pence) but, imo, a smoother taste. Agree somewhat with earlier comments as to this actually being a rum, but hey, it's on this Rum site, and there's folk on here who know infinitely more than I do, so I'd guess it is a rum. Nice on its own, don't really need coke but ice is an essential. Nice colour and aroma, bit sweeter than the other brand, nice enough overall. Give it a shot when in Thailand.

Bought this to check it off and it was as expected for a £18 bottle. Not special, not bad, just bog standard but came with a box - riddle me that

This rum was given to me by a friend who went to Thailand. To be honest he could have spared himself the extra cargo because this rum is only good if you want to get drunk and lame by typical booze!! Have to admit that it is better than the commercial cheap bacardi rums!

This stuff is nuts, really cheap in price but it has some lovely flavours in it. It does pack a punch in the alcohol department, but I have had just as bad for twice the price. Way better than any Captain Morgan or Bacardi standard Rums. I'm guessing a lot of folk are just hating this because of snobbery and price.

This is the Thai go-to rum. Undrinkable on the rocks, but nice with some coke.

Pretty light On the nose and not particularly sweet. Quite warm with a nice bite that is quite aggressive. The aftertaste stays around long after the heat is gone. Undecided if i like the aftertaste.

Everytime I taste something I have to judge it in accordance to it's price. Go to a shop in europe and see what you can get for 10 euros. I'm not a rum person, I see rum as a drink for mixing, cooking and drunks/pirates. This one is surprisingly good for 10 euros/l. Straight, with coke or over some strawberries and sugar. It's much more mellow than havana 7 years in terms of smell, but it is also less sweet and tastes better. Surprisingly smooth as well. For 10 euros this is a best buy for me. If you go to thailand, throw a few bottles in your luggage.
