Sailor Jerry Spiced

Good, strong rum for when you want a little more oomph in your drink. Stringer taste than Kraken, and I really don't get any hint of the cherry that's supposed to be in there, but still better than Capt Morgan's

If mixing spiced rum with coke or ginger beer is your thing, you can't really go wrong with Sailor Jerry.

An easy mixer. Ok for that. Not a sipping drink for me though.

I bought this because it was cheap as chips and was taken by how well the spice flavoured the rum and was very happy with my purchase

It's very strong, I think its 46%? Very good stuff however, it's my favourite spiced rum! It has a vanilla-y taste to it. I don't think it goes all too good with coke, but I enjoy this with Sprite and it sits so well! Incredibly both smooth and bold.

Was surprised - expected to be like Catain Morgan, but it is different and it is much better! Good with mixers and straight on the rocks

I set the captain aside. This is a much better choice. Full flavor that mixes very well withour losing the rum.

Totally like the biography of Sailor Jerry. Seems like he was a nice chap and would have given great convo as you are getting your tattoo. As for the rum, it's not so bad. It can be a sipper with a couple of ice cubes and is an adequate mixer. Seems like a rum with an attitude and better than Captain Spiced. For now a 5 for me but I may up it to a 6 in time.

Its a decent entry level rum thats ok with coke, bit of an unpleasant after taste that reminds me of led pencils but its mild. Can be drowned ouot with extra mix or a bit of lime.

Huge following now in the UK, which I find unfortunate as there are so many better rums out there. It is smooth enough to be sipped though probably better as a mixer. It didn't really stand out to me as a spiced rum, so I feel its price more than flatters its taste.
