Sailor Jerry Spiced

I’m not an expert who really gets notes and whatnot out of tasting, so my opinion is just kind what you’d taste as a regular dude or a layperson without much rum knowledge. I wouldn’t sip it and I don’t think that’s what it’s really big for anyway. This is a rum and Coke must. It’s got a distinct vanilla-ish taste and chances are if you try and like it, you’ll go through some “I can’t even smell that” for a while if you overdo since it’s so distinct. This is a good rum if you’re not a rum snob or if you’re just a normal person that wants to make a rum and Coke and taste some spice. I’ve tried more expensive stuff but I always come back to this one for my rum and Cokes. Tastes like it smells, vanilla-ish. Be careful with it, it’s easy to go through a bottle and it’s stronger than it tastes.

Basic mixer style spiced rum. Decent with dry ginger ale and lime.

Fľaša je dosť obyčajná, vôňa nevýrazná, alkoholová, s dominanciou vanilky. V chuti rovnako dominuje vanilka, možno trochu oriešky. Žiaľ žiadne iné tóny nie je cítiť, jedná sa o dosť suchý rum a tipoval by som aj viac ako udávaných 40% alkoholu. Tento drink mi veľmi silno pripomína ochutenú vodku. Evidentne nezrel, takže absentuje pre rum dôležité dubovo-dymové pozadie. Nuž, je to "spiced". Za danú cenu sa dajú zohnať o dosť lepšie kúsky, nerozumiem všeobecne vysokým ratingom, mne vôbec nesadol.

I’m not a spiced rum fan, admittedly. I’d rather buy a good aged rum and add my own spices. But if you are looking for a spiced rum, you could do worse. This is head & shoulders abound Captain or Bacardi, but falls pretty short of craft spiced runs like Malahat.

This is a particular rum with unique spiced taste and very balanced and smooth on mouth!

Naturalne przyprawy nie czuc dosładzania. Całkiem niezły ale pare lepszych piłem . Wyżej cenie brugal enej. Sugerując się opiniami oczekiwałem więcej.

It exists for all. If you only drink this neat, try something better. If you only mix this in cocktails, try something cheaper. But always have one bottle of this ready for the regular unrefined friend.

It has the hints of the good rums but the character isn't quite there.

Sweet and spicy, Sailor Jerry is one of my favourite rums to mix with cola. It will always have a place on my shelf.

This is a good rum with fairly strong vanilla overtones. The other spices become more evident once it's down (though the vanilla is its main flavor) with a nice, warm sensation all the way down. Not the best for drinking straight, but not a bad one either. It smells pretty good and I wouldn't mind if someone offered me a glass.

Has a lot of burn going down and tastes like vodka
