This is a quality rum. Picked it up cause it was on sale cause no one wanted it cause they knew nothing about it. Did a little diggin and saw that I the first 7 years and 2 months it’s ages in Ex-bourbon barrels. The last 10 months, it’s aged in old Armagnac barrels.
Super mellow. Good spice and smooth balance. Notes of allspice, caramel, and honey.
