A 7-year old “Ron” definitely bottled in Aruba. Some says that it’s origins from Belize, but nothing on the bottle tells that.
It’s aged in former bourbon oak barrels.
It has some bite, which is indicated by the shark on the label. You can recognize vanilla, toffee and some spices.
It’s a Ron so there’s of course some sweetness, but much lesser then in most aSpanish styled rum.
It’s too weak to get a high score but as a summary it’s a good buy. You are getting a good everyday rum to a real good price.

In Belize tasting a lot of rum. I had this one at the distillery in San Pedro. No where near as good as the 8 year old. Drinkable but why when the 8 is so available?
