Ron Zacapa XO

Beautiful bottle and great rum. A little on the strong side. Great for that special moment that you want to relax or share with special friends.

Tastes best after a few minutes and with large ice cubes. Not my favorite, but good enough to be at the top of my list.

Very dry, similar to a strong scotch.

Schön weich, etwas Orange und Schokolade. Würzig, kräftig, Karamell, angenehm süss. Langer Nachhall. Im Vergleich zu anderen aber zu teuer.

Très emballé par ce rhum, malheureusement je viens de le terminer.

Deep color smooth tasty sweet rich but forgettable compared to others on same price/rating.

Great taste and finish.

Now I will say, Zacapa is definitively overrated. They are strong in marketing but that is what you pay for.
I found this XO smooth but with lack of aroma, the burnt carry too long for me and overall didn't really enjoy it.
I ve got many rums, cheaper and much better than this one.
