Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

Fantastic Rum and the most I've spent on a bottle even though it has added sugar the aftertaste was long and woody/oaky and I could still taste it even when the night was over, a brilliant rum.

A point up from the 23 Solera. It has more body and a longer aftertaste. A Good rum!

Aromatic like fresh fruit, and a taste to back it up. Smooth and sippable, with a lovely finish.
Had a lot expectation on this rum. For me a quite mild rum with nice caramell flavour. To be honest... a bit boring for that price.

This is a very smooth and tasty rum. For the price I think its a supurb top quality rum...I think its well worth every penny

This is really an amazing spirit - but I find it hardly better than the Solera or other Zacapas. Only way more expensive!

I have a bottle of this and break it out only when I have someone over that appreciates it. Nice and oaky, depth of flavour I can’t explain.
