Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

Delicious and smooth. This is my favourite rum that I have ever had.

I have loved this rum from the first time i was lucky enough to get a 5cl mouthful in a tasting pack.
Incredibly smooth, beautifully presented and an exotic name. Expensive enough to make it a treat but not too dear to make it unobtainable.
Yes please!

While I am not the most worldly travelled person, this is by far my favorite so far. Smooth enough to sip and even more delicious with Ginger ale

Worth every dollar. Whatever you mix with it, it just makes it better.

I didn't hesitate to give this a 10, excellent taste throughout and with an exceptional finish. The presentation and packaging is great, well worth the money.

This to me is how a great aged rum should taste. It's so smooth that you would think it's a cognac. It's got great balance and depth to it and I would drink it after every meal if I could!

Like the 23 but with a longer aftertaste and a few more subtle flavours. Great stuff

It is rich with coffee notes and a little tobacco.

For men, but smooth 10 out of 10

One of the rums that I do not typically offer to ladies visitors. Strong oak, coffee, tobacco. But compared to Zacapa 23 Solera, the nose is really smooth. Perhaps one of the best rums I have tasted.
