Guatemala | Aged | 40% ABV | Column Still (1-4) Distilled

Ron Zacapa 23 Solera Rum was created in 1976 in the highlands of Guatemala, where it is distilled in a copper-lined column still from fresh cane juice before solera aging.

The 500 year-old Spanish Sistema Solera method is used to age Ron Zacapa 23 in white oak casks. This results in a combination of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.

The current Ron Zacapa 23 bottle features a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle.

U mňa super, táto rodina nesklamala. Aróma, chuť, všetko v poriadku.

I've seen a bunch of reviews for this rum which are hyper-critical about how sweet it is and such. That said, I for sure have a sweet tooth when it comes my drinks. So, I tend to enjoy the sweeter sipping rums. This rum is smooth and has tons of flavor. Perfect for a novice rum sipper like me.

Хороший ром, но ожидания были явно выше. Нет ярких воспоминаний и желания попробовать еще

Complex, deep, burned, sweet, nice to sip and a stable rum

Together with the plantation XO the best rum I’ve had so far.

Beautiful color and texture. Vanilla and honey in the scent. Smooth and soft to the tongue. Nicely balanced sweetness. Hitting the sweet spot between a sweet honey and a darker chocolate tasting rum.

Da gustarselo con calma, lasciando che il sapore avvolga la bocca.

I like sweet rums, but this was not really for me.

I don't know, I'm probably different, I bought this rum among the first, and even a liter, because of worldwide praise, and then I didn't know what to do with it. We didn't sit at all, I'm into sweeter rums and here I was disturbed by everything that was in that rum and it was hard for me to get rid of it. Since then, I have avoided all the Zacaps with an arc, although they may be good and praised, but it was enough for me ...

On the begining of my RUM way I liked it a lot.. but after tasting many others I am bored and I do not like it anymore.
This is a combination of rums with age of 6-23 years. They first attack the senses with the scent of apricots, coconut, vanilla and citrus. The taste itself is markedly spicy with hints of chocolate and tannins.
