Enjoyed a glass of Ron Varadero Silver Dry at La Bodequita del Medio in Ciudad de Mexico. Bottle is rather basic, but the label design is nice and unique. Alcohol is very strong to the nose and palate. A lot of burn at the end, so mix it up for your own sake.

Harsh, not much flavor. Would work okay in tropical drinks.

It should be cheap. Good quality. But do not cling, do not want to buy a second bottle.

Varadero silver is a typical, well balanced white rum, that is affordable and highly recomended for cocktails.

Colour: Clear, colourless
Aroma: Alcoholic with soft citrus tones
Flavour: thin
Taste: Sharp alcoholic at the start, then sweet citrus.

A quality, strong, white rum ideal for mixing. It will boost your Mai Tais, Mojitos etc.

Tips: Some may prefer it on the rocks, with a splash of fresh lime juice.
