Quorhum 30-Year

En afsindig god rom. Den læner sig meget tæt op af et 10 tal. Den har næsten det hele.

I've had it in my collection for a long time. First impression was great. A unique fragrance that positively distinguishes it. Very clear, delicate, pleasant scent of wood. I associate it with the smell of wood in a sauna. It's a very pleasant association for me. Second impression: I didn't quite like the taste. It's unique, high quality, very good, but I found it too sour for my taste. Came back to it again after many other tastings and now appreciate it. Rum has no added sugar, but at the same time it is slightly but noticeably sweet and at the same time I feel the taste of bitter dark caramel and dark chocolate. The finish is very very long and pleasant, sweet, wooden, moderately complex but sufficiently complex. In some time he will write a review for punta cana xox which comes from the same distillery: Oliver & Oliver. I've also had it in my collection for some time. I will write how I assess the differences between them. I recommend this rum for those who want to have something special in their collection. If, however, you are looking for something to start with, I do not know if it is the best choice for you.

Fruity aromas, nice soft alcohol, menium minus sugar with long aftertaste of sherry, vanilla, orange.
Much better and interesting than 20-y.

This must be one of the best from O&O. It’s made out of both suger cane juice and molasses. In the beginning it’s quite sweet and then comes the citrus (which I love) together with vanilla, honey etc. The afterburn is quite long and dry. It’s definitely a favourite.

Very well balanced and a gret taste. It does however in my opinion lack a little on the finish. It is a near perfect rum, no doubt. But it lacks a unique character, something to make it memorable. hence why i can't give it a perfect score.

This is a must try rum. I first saw how everyone hyped about the QRM.. And i finally tried it. I don´t regret it at all.

Bottle : Nice heavy bottle with a nice shape.
Nose : Rich scent and a dark tone it. Like raisins meets coffee.
Taste : One of the fuller tastes i have tried. Rich and mild.
Finish : Suddle and it tones out in many different tones.

A bit like the 23 year one but sharper and a more serious nuttiness. Great rum

I would expect something strong but it is quite light and so enjoyable. A sure choice.

When taking the price into account the quality is absolutly outstanding. Smooth and sweet.
