Schönes sattes Bernstein mit Nuancen von Waldhonig im Glas.
In der Nase, eine grosse Schüssel voller frisch geschnittenen tropischen Früchten. Zuoberst liegen vollreife Bananen, darunter Litschis, Mangostanen, Drachenaugen, Rambutans, ein Vanillestängel und ein paar Rosinen. Etwas Holz, Moos, Harz und geräuchertes Karamell begleiten die anderen Düfte durch die Nase.
Am Gaumen weich und elegant. Der Fruchtsalat wird nun getrunken, aber vorher kommt noch eine Ladung Karamell obendrauf. Vanille Gebäck mit reichlich Schokolade und ein paar Nüssen wecken die Lust auf mehr. Das Holz bekommt nicht mal mehr eine Nebenrolle.
Im Abgang verlassen zuerst die Früchte die Zunge, das Schokoaroma bleibt sehr lange.
Ein wirklich toller Rum zum Genießen und Nichtstun. Für Einsteiger und Geniesser. 8+

Beautiful rich amber with nuances of forest honey in the glass.
In the nose, a large bowl of freshly cut tropical fruits. On the top are fully ripe bananas, followed by lychees, mangosteens, dragon eyes, rambutans, a vanilla stalk and a few raisins. Some wood, moss, resin and smoked caramel accompany the other fragrances through the nose.
On the palate soft and elegant. The fruit salad is now drunk, but before that a load of caramel is added on top. Vanilla pastries with plenty of chocolate and a few nuts awaken the desire for more. The wood does not even get a supporting role anymore.
In the finish the fruits leave the tongue first, the chocolate aroma stays very long.
A really great rum to enjoy and do nothing. For beginners and connoisseurs. 8+

Dark nose with heavy karamel and dried fruit. Great taste, it’s woody and sweet but not too sweet. A very well balanced rum i would say. Would be very interesting to taste a cask strength version of it.

Aroma of vanilla and dry fruits. Taste of honey and nuts.

Very interesting rum, a lot of taste, an price that the most can affort. Excellent aftertaste

Mac Y/RN Masterclass. 4 år på bourbonfad i Guatamala. Derefter 1/2 på sherry oloroso og 1/2 på PX fad i 2 1/2 år. Sukker tilsat. Duft af kokos, vanilje, chokolade, kaffe, tørret frugt, figen, blomme. Smag af kokos, sød sherry, fad, vanilje.

De beaux reflets dorés teintent sa robe acajou.

Nez
Le nez dévoile une grande richesse : parfums de miel, de canne à sucre, de vanille et de chocolat... Les senteurs de raisin apparaissent ensuite, confirmant l’influence du Xérès lors de la maturation.

Bouche
D’agréables notes pâtissières et des saveurs de fruits mûrs se combinent pour nous offrir, sublimées par des arômes de raisin, de datte, de vanille et de noix torréfiée, un instant d'une délicate gourmandise.
