I came across this dry rum more than 6 months ago. It comes from somewhere in Central America, but does not state where. For me, this is worse than not stating the age or additives. I immediately hated it so much that this rum began my long streak of not submitting any more reviews. It is not disgusting, but certainly nothing to like about.

So I came accross this rum on rum festival, that I had opportunity to taste plenty different rums. This one have really nice bottle, very good marketing "history" .
About most important, the taste: very nice sweet, yet not too sweet rum with chocolate, honey flavours. The thing that is holding me back from purchasing botlle is definitly the price in my country and fact that with that price range I have lot of more complex different rums that are better in my opinion.
So I recommend this rum but also I suggest to lower the price on it

A number of different flavors, and I am not sure if I can put my finger on just one. When all combined though, I like it. I do wonder if they’ve added flavoring, as it sure is sweet. Mixed is good, but straight a little better, even with some burn.

Tasted at Flamingo Tiki in OKC August 22, 2023
Appearance: amber
Aroma: molasses, rock candy, caramel
Flavor: lovely sipping rum. A full embrace of molasses, worthy of gingerbread cake and a roaring fire
This is a keeper

Fruité et doux. Longue très longue finale. Complexe. Un bon rhum mais un peu cher.

Incredibly smooth. A far better alternative to diplomatico or Zacapa in the same style.

I only like rum and have been drinking it for 10+ years. I try anything reasonably priced (less than $100) a bottle. This is very good ,but the only thing keeping it from a 9-10 rating is the sweetness. I find it to be the most smooth and zero burn in its abv. This is one in a long list of rums i have tried and its one of my favorites so far , but it does have a bit of sweetness right of the bat although it doesn't weigh heavy like sailor jerrys sweetness. To me what makes a good rum is no bad flavor notes, smoothness and hangover lol. This is an 8 which is my highest rating yet altough i have other 8's too . I just like to leave room for the 9-10's which i have yet to discover but know they are out there.

Herbe Note, fast etwas bitter; starker Alkohol im Abgang.
