The initial taste almost comes off as a spiced rum, follows through to an unmistakable caramel amber finish. Hands down one of the best rums I have encountered. Regardless of the added sugar argument put forward by some reviews, all that matters at the end of the day is flavour. And this rum delivers a full 10/10 in my books.

Perfectly balanced and smooth. Nose is sweet, spiced and has notes of caramel. Taste is silky smooth and extremely long.

I don't want to be stingy and that's why i put him in grade 10, because for me this Mr. Ron does not deserve a 9, but to be punctually fair his grade would be 9.55; and it's that this rum is very well made with a beautiful mahogany color, has a vanilla and slightly smoky aroma, you can also feel a light aroma of fresh fruits and almonds, these aromas become more noticeable when you drink it, and it's when notes just vanilla, sugar, fruits, spices and almonds. This rum does not have alcoholic beating, and on the contrary it's very warm when drinking it.
In addition to all this, it has a very striking presentation.

No quiero ser mezquino y es por eso que lo coloco la calificación 10, porque para mí este Sr. Ron no merece un 9, pero para ser puntualmente justo su calificación sería 9.55; y es que este ron está muy bien elaborado con un hermoso color caoba, cuenta con un aroma avainillado y ligeramente ahumado, también se le puede sentir un ligero aroma a frutas frescas y almendra, estos aromas se hacen más notorios al tomarlo, y es cuando notas justamente la vainilla, el azúcar, las frutas, especias y la almendra. Este ron no tiene golpe alcohólico, y por el contrario es muy cálido al beberlo.
Adicional a todo esto, cuenta con una muy llamativa presentación.

Der beste Rum, den ich bisher getrunken habe! Wahre Aroma-Explosionen. Ich kann nur schwer beschreiben, was im Mund nach kurzer Zeit passiert. Als Musiker würde ich sagen, die Gitarre hat sehr viele Obertöne. Oder: es schmeckt so vielfältig wie ein schöner Regenbogen Farben hat. Der Vergleich hinkt: aber ich habe mich an das Gefühl erinnert, das ich nach meinem ersten Joint vor 45 Jahren hatte und danach zum ersten Mal Voodo Chile von Hendrix hörte! Besser als der Bentley B 13.
