Ron Millonario Reserva Especial 15 rum is created from molasses using a 1930's Scottish column still and aged in American and Slavonian oak casks up to 15 years using the solera blending method.
The Ron Millonario company was founded in 1950, and in 2004 was purchased by the Italian Fabio Rossi.

My wife bought this recently for our anniversary. She is more of a beer girl, but has falling in love with the taste of this rum. I would share a glass of Ron Millonario 15 with her any day of the week.
This rum has tremendous flavours of molasses and toffee. There are also hints of orange peel and cloves.
This bottle was a small disappointment for me but a few my friends try it and were satisfied.
This would be my second choice right after Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. Very easy to drink. Definitely a sipper.
can't put my finger on it really, it is one of those things you know, but can't say. it feels a bit artificial, but, can't say why. it's sweet, and a bit bitter, somewhere in the back, it has a bitter note like the one found in apricot kernel. it lasts like forever in your month, but it opens up to grass feel, fresh, uncut grass.
It is a lovely combination on paper, but I am not sure it gains the rum more than 6 stars.
Nice sweet taste with spicy finish. Plus I really liked the packaging.
Complex smell? ✓
Complex taste? ✓
But yet sweet? ✓
Very smooth? ✓
Comparing this to most other rums directly, you'll first notice the very different and complex smell which will immediately reward you with an equal complex taste. At the same time it's all sweet and very smooth. Its elder brother, Ron Millonario XO, tops it by being a little more complex in taste and is worth every penny in my humble opinion. Nevertheless, both are a great choice, definitely not a wrong decision choosing either.
Originální rum, lehce nasládlý a díky jedinečné metodě výroby mi přijde trochu natrpklý. Jedná se však o klenot v mé sbírce
Nice brown color with a sweet nose of brown sugar. Peppery after taste... good rum for the money!
Sweet, caramel and brown sugar, but not too much. It's like a dessert rum - drink your pudding.
Well worth the money! Smooth rum with rich caramel and vanilla tones and a slight hint oak that lingers. Should only be drunk straight. One of my favourites and would recommend to anyone.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This one actually makes me think of El Dorado 12, it has almost the same character.
Soft on the nose, sweet in the mouth, with a good short burn on the tongue.
Definitely worth having on your shelf.
