First impressions leave you with a pleasent nose of honey and oak.
The taste is similarly sweet, round and a hint of oak.
The aftertaste is mostly fruity but ends with a slight alcoholic burn, unfortunately distracting a bit from the flavor.

If you like sweet rums, you'll enjoy this, if you don't mind some alcohol taste in the end.

Let me start right away saying that it is superb!!! So smooth you can't imagine and it's full of exciting flavors. Sweet caramel, different fruits and a lot of good things going on. You feel a little burn taking the first sip but if you let the rum rest in the glass for a few minutes the aromas gets smoother and you don't sense any sticky alcohol!

I've had three bottles in my collection for a long time without even trying it. But when I finally opened a bottle last week, I ended up emptying the first bottle at once and the second bottle this week!!
For sure a new favourite neat sipping rum for me!!!!

Update jan 2022: Now I find it is very very sweet and it annoys me so dropped from a 9 to 7

I would still go for the R. Millonario any day though. The extra cash is money well spent when you compare the two.

Taste notes of toffee, caramel vanilla. Good sipper

Mild flavored rum. Smooth overall. Decent. Nothing more to say...

I live this rum, easy to drink, great after taste. My favorite.

Min absoluta favorit. Ganska söt med intressant smak och trevlig förpackning.

A very enjoyable rum. Excellent tasting with tastes of toffee and a bit of spice. I definitely recommend it.
