Ron Millonario Reserva Especial 15 rum is created from molasses using a 1930's Scottish column still and aged in American and Slavonian oak casks up to 15 years using the solera blending method.
The Ron Millonario company was founded in 1950, and in 2004 was purchased by the Italian Fabio Rossi.

En af de første flasker jeg købt og den står stadig, som en af de bedste jeg har smagt. Alt passer bare sammen, smag, duft og eftersmagen giver et indblik i hvordan en rom skal sættes sammen.

Dont like grass cover so much, but inside is great.
Similar like his older brother XO, which is only a bit deeper and smoother... and much more expensive.
The bottle certainly do not do the rum Justice. So far this is the best rum i have ever tasted. A real rum with hints of marzipan, vanilla and very sweet but not too much. Can not wait to take another zip.

Rum eccellente, tra i migliori che ho bevuto. Sapore persistente di caramello e un caratteristico retrogusto di vaniglia. Da accompagnare ad un buon pezzo di cioccolata fondente al 99%.

I am glad I stumbled across this perfect sweet rum in such a nice packaging, which is really unique (do not try to remove it, there is just a common bottle inside). The rum itself is really dark. You can nose it straight after pouring, with a strong aroma (probably sugar). The taste is smooth, you feel again the rich aroma you nosed before. The afterburn is pleasant.
Some may hate the sweetness, I like it. A perfect rum stepping out of the rest.

Pour moi, rien de tel niveau rhum solera...
superbe touches de caramels et légèrement épicé.... toujours un grand succès !
