Easily consumable in a bind
Rum tasting in Sacramento continued onwards with Siddiqui Classic. Childish bottle and label design. Bright golden color. Plenty of oak and SO much peat it's ridiculous plus plenty of unaged alcohol to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Harsh burn at the end. Heavy peatiness comes through any mixer you choose.
Very smoky. Straight or mixed. Almost like it was stored in barrels that survived a fire. It's a relatively new company, however, and I'm willing to give it a chance and will try their Steel White Rum one day.
