Bacardi Oakheart

To me it's not anything special it's ok with coke but nit my type of choice

Od bacardi jeden z lepsich. Raz so ho pil cisty, a je tam ten dub trosku citit, aj sladkost, ok mozno sa to da pit aj bez koly.
Ale v drinkoch chuti velmi dobre, ale ved na to je v skutocnosti aj urceny

Better taste to original Bacardi but still not great

Dissapointed with the taste was expecting much more.

Such an overbearing artificial flavor. Pure rubbing alcohol when poured, molasses aroma only after. Skip this and all other Bacardi products.

Imagine a bad rum, with to much flavour at all the wrong places.. That's the oakheart feeling for me.. its maybe good with coke.. if you are drunk... and you just got hit with a shovel... Its definitely better than being hit with a shovel.. maybe...

the first glass was ok but after 3-4 i dont like that mellow think.... Not tasty experience overall.

tried with ice only cause its too sweet .

I like spiced rums, and had higher hopes for this one. Sweet on the nose like apricot and overripe banana, there's an oily mouth feel with a syrupy sweetness. It's drinkable in a rum and coke, but not something you would drink straight or feature in a cocktail.

Rum should not taste like melted margarine but Bicardi Oakheart does. There is almost a faint trace of rum flavor underneath all that butter flavor but searching for it while trying to enjoy a glass is not worth it. I eventually finished a 750ml bottle instead of pouring it down the sink but can't say I'm proud of that. Some of you seem to like Oakheart. Why??

I fail to see how this rum is rated 7 ?! Clearly the people who rated this a 7, have not tasted other rums. At 35%, I don't even know if this qualifies as a rum.

I've had this in a bar where the only rum you could chose, was Bacardi. So I thought I'd give it a try. Not the worst rum I have ever drunk, but not far from it. Strong taste of artificial flavors and sweeteners. Wouldn't bother buying a bottle, I'd just go for a Havana Club 3, in this price range, which is far superior.
