Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

To make it a little bit sweeter, I decided to mix it with maple
syrup, which made a quite good combination.

I used to drink this quite often but as i discovered more and far better rums this one really doesnt do it for me anymore.

If your not to real good rum. You could try it ,but there are many good rum out there why try this.

Spirit drink. Mixed alcohol with perfume. Drinkable in a tiny dose.
Не похож на ром. Алкококтейль, который невозможно употреблять в чистом виде. Ароматизаторы быстро вызывают отвращение. Из плюсов - эффектная бутылка и миниум проблем с утра.

A rum with lots of added sugar and color additives. This explains why it is a ''spiced rum'' and not a normal rum. Normal rum cannot have more than 20 grams of sugar in the EU. It is really nasty and chemical if you drink this pure. If you drink it with cola, it's okay, but don't drink too much otherwise you are guaranteed to get a severe hangover.

This oakheart rum seems to taste the same as the rest of the Bacardi line, it just cost more.
I'm not sure.. You could drink it with your coke after you had a few good drinks before. But not as a starter.
