Very good fragrance. Slightly spicy in the mouth. Delicious finish.
A beautiful harmonious mixture of honey, vanilla and caramel. Smooth as silk without any harshness. This is the perfect sipping rum! However, it is also pretty pricey as you can expect to pay $20 -$25 for a pour!
Very lightly and delicate. This is the rum to drink to wind down the night
Wanted to give this a try after reading all of the positive reviews. First sip was very complex. Kept changing flavors. Wife even liked it. It’s smooth and worth a try. Just getting into tasting these rums so the complexity may have been lost on me. Will revisit again after tasting some other rums. Overall, this was definitely a smooth rum that went down easy and has a rich body and a complex flavor.
The best there is and I've tried many of the $100 plus rums in the world.
Often with high-end rums I don’t enjoy them the same way as moderately priced ones—the fancy stuff tastes more like cognac or whiskey. Good, very good, but not what I like about rums: the sweetness, the heat, the vanilla and oak and dark fruitiness. Well, Centenario 30 is an expensive rum for people who enjoy ones like Pusser, Pyrat or Zaya—no slouches in and of themselves, but not high-end. Centenario 30 is mellow, warm, fruity and complex with lingering notes of vanilla, molasses, oak, and a little sherry. Just the right amount of sweetness. Exceptional finish.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I really love the Centenario 20, 25, and XX, so I decided to open this bottle for my 75th review. It's truly exceptional as well.
Smells of caramel, molasses, oak, and vanilla. This is slightly less sweet but more complex than the Centenario 20 and 25, but it is still very nicely sweet (I have a bit of a sweet tooth, which is why I like rum to begin with). Another exceptional offering from Ron Centenario!
Pro tip - The Centenario rums are one of the rums that I've noticed get a lot better after they've aeriated. Let them sit at least 10 min after pouring before reviewing/drinking.
