This rum is exquisite. So smooth, velvety, slightly sweet with vanilla and deep molasses, very balanced. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
By thunder this be a fine rum! She has a sweet smell about her with spices, fruits, and bit of oak. Those flavors carry over to the taste, and then some! For as sweet as she smells, she be the perfect balance of dry and sweet. Nothin' too sweet here, and at 80 proof, nothin' for the rum snobs to whine about! There be nothin' here but sweet, smooth, beautiful rum. There be no burn goin' down the hatch either! Aye, she goes down a little too easy, but she gets better every time she does! You captains will want to keep this under lock and key... and don't hesitate to keel-haul any of them swabs who try to pinch this. Arrrgh!!!
C est un rhum exceptionnel sur des notes caramel, sucré et long en bouche il est plus complexe que le 20ans.toutefois la différence n est pas énorme toutefois même s il est meilleur. Un rhum top du top pour ceux aimant les rhums doux.
Není tak sladký jako 20, přesto mi moc chutná. Cítím hodně vůni sudu na pozadí vůně sladkého červeného lesního ovoce jako jsou maliny, jahody. Tento rum je opravdu výjimečný.
This is one of the easier drinking rums I've had. It doesn't smell or taste like it's 40% (more like 35-39%). It has a wonderful sweet caramel smell to it, and tastes equally nice too. Sweeter than the Centenario 30 (and even slightly better imho), this is simply an exceptional rum!
Quel beau rhum! Trouvé en Ontario seulement et dégusté en fin de semaine avec des amis amateur de rhum de dégustation. En touchant mes lèvres, on peux déjà sentir le sucre et quel goût exceptionnel.

If you are ready to move to a sweeter rum than the richly-spice, perhaps perfectly-balanced Ron Zacapa 23, then Ron Centenario 25 is the ideal choice. The 25's sweetness borders on the syrupy. Yet, there is so much piquant rum-ness present that one merely luxuriates in the extra sugar. I prefer big blooming vanilla rums over those that dry out the spices and merely hint at caramel and fruitcake. My favorite budget rum, Ron Abuelo Anejo, for example is more deply satisfying than Ron Centenario 5. Yet, between 5 and 25 years or whatever the numbers stand for, Ron Centenario 25 transforms itself into one of the most delicious libations on the planet. Although it may be cloyingly sweet for purists, RC 25 conveys the casual drinker to the promised land of rum and honey.
This rum is the greatest compromise between the C20 and C30. I really recommend any of these. Maybe the C25 is the best one. Hard to find and pricey but really worth it. So smooth and powerful at the same time. The rum of connoisseur.
Each sip one takes is a sweet rolling flavor of smoothness not for the sake of it but an immeasurable continuance of the true flavors of Ron delicately blended and crafted for that moment of pleasure which stops everything. Then unfortunately the real world crashes down but for that briefest of moments you understand they've made the perfect drink and you were there.
