Costa Rica | Aged | 40% ABV
Ron Centenario 20-Year rum is produced from Costa Rican sugar cane which is turned into molasses before aging in American white oak barrels up to 20 years using the solera aging system.
The company producing Ron Centenario 20-Year rum used to be named Seagram de Costa Rica, but in 2002 changed its name to Centenario Internacional. The rum wasn't sold outside of Costa Rica until 2007.

One of my favorite ron, well balanced, sweet but not so. A must have as for me.
A little fall off from other Ron Centenario rums but still a great taste
A 30-as szintjét nem éri el, de a 25-ösnél nekem jobban ízlett, ár/érték arányban kiválló.
One of my top and favourite rums which you can drink repeatedly without getting bored. Nice color, taste and Aroma. I really recommend to beginners.
Wow!
jemný a dobře pitelný rum - solera světlejší barvy, mírně nasládlý s tóny vanilky, karamelu a ovoce
I still had a fair amount of Centenario 25 left when I picked up the 20 today so how could I not have these two battle it out. Color on both are identical to me. Nice dark amber. Aroma also was identical. Hint of vanilla, citrus and molasses. In tasting, I had my wife place exact amounts (yes she thinks I am taking this rum thing way too seriously) in the same style whiskey glasses and I let both breathe for 10 minutes. Long story short. The 20 wins. Maybe not as smooth as the 25 but for me more going on with the taste in the 20. Also I actually thought the 25 was just a tiny bit sweeter. And both are plenty sweet as is. Both are an 8 for me but the 20 wins by a little. Also the price of the 20 makes it a much better value. Much much better!!!!
Excellent agreed rum; all you need is a glass and maybe some ice. No need for a mixer.
Buen Sabor, se nota mucho el sabor a madera, seco. No muy dulce
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The taste of wood is normally not something you find in solera-rums, but somehow it hits the back of the palate in this 20-year solera.
Nose: Very sweet and smooth with hints of tropical fruit and raw molasses
Taste: Sweet, but balanced dominated by caramel, tropical fruits and with a hint of wood
Overall: A little sweet, but one of the better 40abv soleras around.
