Bacardi Gold

I would place this rum right there with Captain Morgan's Original. Good for standard bar stock, not really suited for drinking straight but makes a decent mixed or fruity drink. Nice flavour no unpleasant aftertaste.

Popular & cheap. Mix with Coke.

Looks more like a sipping rum as it ended up being.. dont bother..

Disappointed with this choice. Bacardi isn't great to begin with but to think this would be great straight is my fault. Tastes like and extremely cheap rum with a hint of tequila that hits you on the smell and immediate taste. The one positive is the aftertaste. Very sweet and tasty for a bad tasting rum. Better mixed with soda.

I don't know what else to say about this rum that hasn't already been said. A mixing rum? Maybe, but certainly not a good one.

better than the bacardi superior/carta blanca, mixes good with coke. not suitable for sipping. 6/10

Another good rum from Barcardi, excellent color and aroma. Best mixed with Cola.

I feel Bacardi is a good average to slightly above for a mixer with cola. It to me is a standard for a rum and coke. Not good for sipping. Good one to have in the bar for mixing.
