Thanks so much for submitting a report. It has been emailed to the Rum Captain and will be actioned shortly.
I always drink the this either straight or in mixed drinks when in Mexico. Not easy to find in the US. Very flavorful and not harsh .
Very nice bacardi quite a few steps above superior its a toss up between bacardi 8 and this
While I would not grade the Bacardi Añejo a 7 and likely a 5/6 as a drink alone rum, it is my favorite rum in Cuba Libre. I also love this rum with strong juices as it gives it a little stronger taste.i.e mango...and yes normally, I would use clear rums w juices. This is my favorite Bacardi rum as it is still very close to the original Cuban formulas ..it is made in Mexico, not in Puerto Rico
Good in a pinch. Has a Dominican taste. Similar to Brugal.
This rum is fantastic! Great depth, great character. Bold but still pretty smooth. Great rum for the money! One of my most frequent buys!
I tried this first on the rocks and it went down pretty easily. After that I pretty much had it in a lot of mixed drinks. Overall, it went down smoothly and there wasn't any burn afterwards like some liquors have.
There are better in the $15 price range, such as Ron Barcelo anejo, but this is not bad at all. I find most lower-end Bacardi products nearly undrinkable.
OK but not as good as Flor de Cana #5 would again
Readily available at all-inclusives in Mexico. Great on the rocks. One of the only decent Bacardi's which I think is an over hyped brand.
A surprisingly good offering from Bacardi. Just shows that they mass produce for the idiot public but can produce good rums for those who know what one is!
I had a bottle for about 15 years and never opened it. It had an older label than what is available today. I believe the old version had a longer length of aging than the newer version. When I finally tried it, it was quite good. Perhaps I'll try the new version in the future.
It's a nice tasting rum that works well as a mixer
Better than other Bacardi rums. Went to mexico and had a couple of Cuban rums, and while they were good, they were no better with coke than Anejo. I would not drink this as a sipper, but interested in trying the 12 year old El Dorado!
Put some hair on your chest with this drink. Hard drink.
I was a bit disappointed with the flavor. A good mixer but lacks in taste for a sipping rum. Overall ok for a mixed drink.
este ron esta en el limite entre malo y pasable, no es un trago para conocedores
This rum actually was my entry into more serious rums, much better then any of the "white rum" standard mixers, but with a bit of flavor that other base rums didn't have. A good mixer, but straight or on the rocks, it leaves a bit to be desired.
Good golden rum, I expected more based on what I had heard from others but found this one to be somewhat mediocre.
Needed more depth. Light good as cocktail mixer. Nothing special
Probably my favorite Bacardi rum. I like this one with a lime wedge or used in a mojito
This was the first rum I tried after Captain Morgan when I was younger. Before I was introduced to real Rum I considered this a top drink of caramel Amber. I still find it a great mixer, especially in a Cuba Libre with a slice of lime. You can also sip it on the rocks if you have nothing to mix it with. It’s not Plantation XO or anything but it is decent enough for a basic rum.
Pale amber, surprising body without being sweet. Flavours are pretty subtle and could only identify a slight oak tone aftertaste.
May as well have this neat, whatever flavour its has would disappear in a mixed drink.
