To judge this rum you also have to take it's price in consideration. Me for example i have tried the abuelo 1
2 years and have to say. The centuria is not that much better. Don't get me wrong, it is a great rum but so is the 12. If it was around 50 euro's it would beat the 12 but for 140 euro's i would buy 4 or five bottle's of the 12.

Smokey oaky with some caramel and strong vanilla nose. Strong cherry like taste at start. First sip a bit aggressive then very gentle rich body with long aftertaste. Rich sweet body with cherries and balanced vanilla... some scents of smoke, caramel, grapefruit... less sweet and almost a bit bitter end...

So, so good! No burn, just wonderful tastes of maple, vanilla and oak. A little expensive, but worth every penny!

Con la familia hicimos una cata ciega entre Abuelo Centuria, Quorhum, 12 anos abuelo y zacapa 23 anos.
Abuelo centuria quedo de segundo, muy pegado al 12 anios abuelo (3ro)... por la diferencia de precio compraria 12 anos

One of the best I've tried. Smooth and powerfull, amazing finish. Pricy...
A very sophisticated rum astonishingly rich in flavor. It also has that distinctive wood flavour that typically comes with a well aged rum.

En nariz te das cuenta que es el mejor de la zafra con más de 80 años de añejamiento en sus bodegas en pese provincia de herrera con una aplicación de calor seco por su posición geografía en el arco seco de mesoamericana podemos disfrutar y distinguir este rum tan peculiar su costo es nada si lo comparas a rones de la misma edad de maduración en barrica de roble americano
