This is a very Smooth rum . If you have not had spend the money well worth it

Well balanced rum. Good taste - I think little cherry taste.

A wonderful spicy nose and a dry spicy taste; I like!!!! This is up there with panamonte; the only thing stopping me from rating this the same is panamonte is more balanced. I like a touch of sweet in my rums. The dryness in abeulo is overpowering; but still worth the money.

Smooth as hell, good sipping rum. Hints of vanilla without a burn.

This was a solid rum, maybe a little too sweet but otherwise solid flavors of vanilla and oak.

I can onlycompare to the above one if my all time favorites. While this is excellent, I prefer the slightly more flavorful 15 yr. This has a very slight harshness towards the finish, and the flavors just don't melt in your mouth nor last as long as the 15 yr in sherry casks

I'll say as I did the "Opthimus 18-Year Rum":
"A smooth and delightful rum, with a little alcohol bite, so it needs to get some air in the glass before drinking. The smell/taste/aftertaste is so nice, that you will have to lock the bottle away, or you will find yourself drinking it everyday."

But that's a good thing :)

Sweet and leaves a nice taste. Goes down with a nice note. Definitely add to your collection. Good Sipper neat or with a few drops of water to open up

Dette er intet mindre end en fantastisk rom med en meget kraftig udefinerbar duft med noter af bl.a. egefad og kirsebær. Smagen er kraftig og intens med noter af egefad,, nødder, bær, og chokolade. Det er en rom, hvor smagen udvikler sig imponerende - specielt i kinderne, og hvor smagen og duften bliver hængende længe. Den er sød men så alligevel ikke. For mig er det en rom, der er svær at sætte i bås, men det nok samtidig det, der fascinerer 👏

On the nose this rum is spicy and nostril tingling. It's taste has an oak and nutty flavor a great rum and very distinct
