Abuelo Anejo

This is what I like about rums I’m using for mixed drinks. Great taste with nothing to overpower the flavors you are mixing

Had a few bottles of this, as I was surprised at the quality. Easy drinking, smooth and not too sweet. Mixes well with coke, or just on the rocks.

Sedemročné Abuelo si ma postupne dosť získalo, bol som zvedavý aj na jeho mladšieho a podstatne lacnejšieho brácha (navyše som zrejme omylom od predajcu dostal litrovku za cenu sedmičky). Otváranie takmer vínovej fľaše je len umelou zátkou, každopádne vôňa je svieža, príjemná a čímsi špecifická, čím pripomína prv spomenutý drahší rum. Farba je svetlá, chuť ľahká, dubová, s ovocným pozadím a veľmi vyvážená. Rum je skôr suchší, s výrazným alkoholovým akcentom. Od začiatku lavírujem medzi ratingom 5 a 6, prvý dúšok skôr slabší dojem. Každý ďalší však chutí o čosi viac, napokon ostávam pri šestke, aj keď je to fakt tesné. Za danú cenu by mal byť povinnou položkou baru každého rumana na bežný deň. Vo sviatok však povinne starší súrodenec.

A very nice rum to enjoy as an after dinner drink.

My friend and I couldn't stop mixing this with Coca Cola and having it on the beach. Came across it in Bocas del Toro. Every time I see it brings back those beach beautiful memories. Good rum

Même s'il est moins abouti que le 7 ou le 12 ans, on retrouve avec plaisir la pâte panaméenne de cet Abuelo. Début de gamme mais tellement prometteur !!

This rum quite suprised me, I did not expect much for the price, but it is drinkable and pleasant. Quite strong taste, but much better than lot of more expensive bottles. But in the more expensive range there much better choices.

From cheaper rums (at least where I buy them) I really love this one. Mild and smooth. Perfect to share the glass with Cola and some ice. I like the smell of it... This vanilla note is perfect

Good quality for the right price. Not perfect but tastes good.

The smell is beautiful, but the taste lags behind. It leaves you a little disappointed after drinking it. Still, it looks and tastes more aged for how young it is. The price is very low, making this a great contender for best value.
