Has a heavy Sweetness and good power. Not too much at all. With a hint of orange. Very good compared to the price.
Le rhum le plus sucré que j’ai bu. Arômes de vanilles et de banane. Excellent mais il faut aimer le style.
I recently picked up a bottle this. At the price I paid it’s definitely worth the money. It’s more than adequate neat and goes very nicely with Coke. Not too sweet. At the price I Paid, I have no qualms with mixing it. Obviously it’s no XV (let alone Centuria, which is fantastic!) but it doesn’t pretend to be. Definitely worth the money. Recommended. Can’t wait to see what the 12-year is like.
This rum has a light amber, honey colour. Floral, vanilla and karamel on the nose. Medium body with a great round texture. Great balance between sweet and dry with taste of toffee, karamel, vanilla and flowers or apple blossom to be more specific. Some leather and smoke in the finish.
Good luck finding a better rum with this age / price range
good balance and a good rum. This is the second rum from Abuelo that has proven excellent.
Smells pretty bad but better than the Añejo smells. Taste-wise, it's nice and smooth. It's a small step up from the Añejo but it's also only a few bucks more. Semi-sweet and fairly tasty. I recommend trying it.
This used to be my favourite daily sipper, pure, no water nor ice, untill the appleton 12 came along. This is still a magnificent rum especially at the price it' s for sale (25 EUROS). Very middle of the road in every regard, not too stingy, not too woody or bitter or sweet. But this does not mean it is bland! Not by far. Decent three stage taste development. Just a very good spanish style rum
Easy to drink, easy to taste, easy to mix... perfect for introduction to big world of rum. A lot of fun for a little price
Fairly priced and very pleasant.
"A very good introduction to the world of sipping rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Hints of chocolate, vanilla, wood and spice with some smokiness.
Good on its own but not wasted with a mixer, such as a light ginger beer (Fever-Tree). It was a present, so cannot comment on price or value.
