Exactly what you'd expect if you've tried the 7, added depth to that dried fruits sweetness and a smoother finish. One of my favourite <£50 bottles.

Zkusil jsem ho na doporučení. Nelituju, ale rozhodně znám lepší rumy ve stejné cenové relaci. Je to takový střed všeho - není moc sladký, není cítit alkoholem, ale po polknutí zahřeje.

Sampled Ron Abuelo 12 yr rum and was disappointed by the overwhelming sweetness of this rum (29 gpl). Not a fan!

he Abuelo 12-year is a remarkably well-balanced rum that will please any rum lover. It’s one of those rums that tastes old beyond its years—far better than some much older rums in my bar. The flavors are multi-layered, but not overly complex, and at $35, this is a bottle that won’t break the bank. What’s not to love?

I will definitely buy another bottle... Little bit of sweet and spicy at the end. Great choice

This rum has a very sharp alcohol smell, the taste is light fruity.

Great rum to go along with a cigar. Very similar to diplomatico reserva exclusiva but slightly less surupy and more woodsy. Also like a smoother sweeter pampero anniversario. Good rum but for the price I'll stick to diplomatico or some Dictador with my smokes.
