skvely rum! Mne strasne pripomina RON ZACAPA 23 ale trochu menej sladky - u nas za skoro polovicnu cenu.
Rum ma skvelu vonu - sladku s naznakmi melasy a vanilky. V chuti je velmi jemny a vobec nepali - je citit citrusy, vanilku, karamel a v zavere cim sa lisi od RON ZACAPA 23 aj trochu dubu. Tento rum je absolutne vhodny na celovecerne popijanie!

I was thrilled by the rating here, so I tried it, the price was great. The first impression is positive, but maybe I had the wrong batch, I smell the cherry ointment in the aftertaste, and it's almost vomiting. The wife confirmed again. I finished the bottle with a lot of self-denied. I may give Abuel another chance, I plan to have a version of two oaks, or XV Tawny port cask, we'll see ...

Nadchlo mě zdejší hodnocení, tak jsem jej zkusil, cena super. První dojem kladný, ale snad jsem měl špatnou várku, v dochuti cítím višňovou mast, a to je skoro na zvracení. Manželka opět potvrdila. Dopil jsem s velkým sebezapřením. Abuelu možná dám ještě šanci, v plánu mám verzi dvou dubů, nebo XV Tawny port cask, uvidíme...

Okay, so the experience still fresh, I just opened the bottle (btw, I went for this rum after the ratings here, so I was really curios if I can find a great rum just based on other peoples opinion, and I did). It has a very strong coffey-caramelly smell and taste, I am really enjoying it, will try other Abuelos in the future.

Rum se nevyrábí z melasy, ale z panenské šťávy cukrové třtiny.

Aroma: Kůže, skořice, malinko tabáku a kouře, perník
Chuť: Velmi jemná, karamelová s hřebíčkem
Dozvuk: Opět lehce hřebíčková a skořicová, nakonec sušené ovoce (višně).
Sladkost: 1/3
Velmi povedený rum základní řady za super cenu. Krásná vůně, fajn středně dlouhý dozvuk a sladkost v limitu.

Noter vanilje, kaffe og karamel. Den har duft af sukkerrør og appelsin og smag, der er krydret og fyldig med en god balance.

Tropical fruits and caramel all over, with chocolate, citrus and moccha. Some wood, dust and malt make it a tad better than most spanish style aged rums imo.

Smell: Alcohol, dried fruit and chocolate. The sharp alcohol sort of dampens after a few minutes in the glass. Taste: Full bodied, soft taste with a bit of tanin but good combined with a bit of sweetness. It also seems like there is a pinch of salt in it. Is only inhances the taste. Overall a very pleasant soft rum. Not too soft - just enough. Very easy to sip. It is a keeper!

Tried this rum at first in a tasting collection. It has a quite strong smell and first sip. Some wood flavor at first comes with a light burn then followed with some caramel sweetness.

This is my wife’s favorite rum and ayer go to night cap. By the way, it pairs great with a good steak.
