Abuelo Gran Reserva 12-Year

Best rum as a sipper for me sofar.I like it a lot and will buy it again. Easy to drink, oak, sweet, vanilla.

A wonderful birthday present after wanting to try for a while. On the nose it is distinctive to any other rum use smelt. It has a nice subtle sweetness to it and every sip seems to bring out more flavours which I find very enjoyable. Nice long finish too allowing you to savour those flavours.

Outperforms it's price point.

Perfection and lots of caramel flavors and oak notes and vanilla.

One word : excellent. Can easily compete with the Flor de Cana

first tried abuelo 7 and did not like its thin taste and fany sweetness. 12 is a different story, very fruitfull smell, yet you know you are drinking rum. Seems somehow filimial to Barcelo Imperial. Long sweet aftertaste.

Very nice and strong aroma, caramel, tropical flavor, accurate sweetnes, smooth alcohol - I felt in love with it :-) I use it every evening for sipping...

Strong presence of sweet caramel and vanilia in the taste and aroma, but there is also some aroma of wooden barrel.

Mi piace molto questo rum, ben bilanciato, appena dolce, aromi ben presenti ma non invadenti. Profumo attraente anche se un po’ deciso. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
