Somewhat sweet, a little bit disappointing and plain taste with almost no aftertaste.
The rum is easily consumed and is not bad but I would definitely prefer something else.

I expected a much sweeter and typpical dom. rep style. You have a great taste, sweet and not to complex. The taste and nose is mixed really good.

Enjoyed a small bottle of Ron Cristóbal Pinta. Very nice old school bottle and label design. Light golden color. Pure alcohol and plenty of oak to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end. Better mixed than neat sipped. This would be a much better rum with more barrel aging. 6 to 8 years is simply not enough for this one.
