Definitely not a sipper. Harsh alcohol burn with very little flavor. The label on the bottle says it's an award winner but I can't see why.

Made by a craft distilling company in St Louis that also makes whiskey and gin. Found in a local bar. Rum is a dark gold. Neat: alcohol on front overshadows notes of vanilla wood and light maple and green notes. With cube of ice alcohol mellows. Sells locally for $30 a bottle. Good to have tried but at this price point?
