Pokud máte rádi islay whisky s jejich typickou rašelinovo-kouřovou vůní/chutí, tak si zamilujete i tento rum.
I'm surprised by the low quality comments here. The rum is simple, but has a very touch to a good quality dry rum. With the nice oak hints when you warm the rum to Caribbean climate type temperatures, it comes out extremely well vs. the price ;)
You can really taste the Fiskars barrel on this one which is a plus if you're into the more woody tasting rums. Overall it's really sweet tasting with hints of vanilla and a slight burn to top it off. Not really a sipping rum but works well in cocktails or the classic rum and coke.
Worth a try. It's a rum experience I didn't expect. Honestly Ö tastes more like a whiskey than a rum in my opinion. To describe the taste it's a mix of light smoky whiskey, wheat and oily rum. Personally it's not my Favorite, but I can see why some people might like it.
Sweet, smooth, sharpish. Almost worth its price. Would go well in mixers.
Not quite my thing as It's pretty dry and the taste is somewhat alcoholic and not very interesting in my option. In any case, credits to Smakby for creating this unique rum presented in fine bottle.
Surprisingly full character dark rum, considering the small batch. Although comes across slightly young and pointy. Citrusy/pomerania notes in a mahogany colour.
Overall not total disaster, oak touch is present very clearly. However the experience coul be a lot better...
Color - allist honey, a bit pale
aroma - clean, sweet
body - woody, light
taste - a bit bitter, even more woody
finish - spirity, almost burning, not so pleasant, alcohol burns for quite long
smoothness - at the beginning of a sip it's quite smooth and nice but the longer it has been in your mouth the stronger is the burn of the spirit
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
