A fantastic rum in a spectacular bottle. The fragrance is very nice and in the mouth you can feel exotic fruits and some cinnamon. The 43 % gives it also a perfect power.
I think it can compete with Appleton 21 at an much more competitive price.

In my opinion, similar to Doorly´s 12.
Good notes, but, I feel a little alcohol in the aftertaste.
For the same price there are more interesting options.

I recommend it if purchased at a good price.

There's a lot going on with this rum and it's all good! Lots of flavor and great value.

A good rum, better than many but not great. Slightly dry flavor, and pure on the nose. Makes girls pull a face and meet try not to when they drink it.

Good for mixing drinks because you can feel the kick, but also good as a sipping rum. This has grown on me since I got it as a gift. Sticks to the glass and has distinct notes of oak and something I can’t identify. It’s fascinating. Not sweet, more of a spicy flavor that is very satisfying without the cloying sweetness some rums have to offer.

Rhum peu complexe sur la cerise et la vanille. Alcool pas trop présent et c’est bien fait pour un rhum de ce prix.

very nice gentle aroma. First taste is smooth, with wooden and boirbone tones. After starts a bit burning. Aftertaste is not very long and dry with biiter and oak. Overal I'm missing a bit more complexity and more pleasant aftertaste.

Not my favorite, but still nice when I want a change.

Very full-bodied rum, great for sipping on the rocks. One of my favorites and typically much cheaper than rums of the same quality.

Easily has the richness and flavor of the Doorly's 12-year - this belongs on any rum drinkers bar.

It would be silly not to have a few bottles of this on hand. This rum is extremely versatile... great for sipping neat or over ice, and at $22-24 per bottle, you don’t feel bad mixing it either. This works really well in a rum old fashioned :-) The bottle is also really neat. My only complaint is that the glass is so dark you can’t tell how much rum is left. If you always have a 2nd bottle on hand, that’s not really a problem.
