39% ABV? A little bit smoother than its younger siblings, but not more interesting. I’d need to spend a little more time with this one, but it’s just a tad lackluster. 79/100
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Its's summer and Caipirinha time again. Let's try a Cachaca from Ypióca, produced for their 150th anniversary. Nice bottle with a picture of an old sugar cane mill. Aged for 6 years in
Balsamo- and Oak barrels
Alcohol : 39 %
Nose : sweet sugar (cane), grapes, pear
Palate : a typical Cachaca, sugarcane-fruity. A little sharpness, but not unpleasant. Grappa
Finish : medium, the Grappa again, a little burning in the mouth
Conclusion : neat drinkable but nothing special. Very pleasantly mild in a Caipirinha, but either nothing extraordinary. Too expensive for more than 30 euros.
