Roatan Rum Company Plata Premium

Wow, bought in a store in La Ceiba for the equivalent of $6 Canadian.. Tastes great.. I'm going back for more..

These guys were right on the pier in Roatan, likely why it was $25 a bottle (US). It was worth that much and more. I don't think I'll ever develop the tasting/description skills that some of you show... It's not as sweet as Zaya, but along the same lines. If you like Plantation, Vizcaya, Doorly's 12 year old, along these lines, I think you will find this quite good for the money. I didn't get to try it until I got home, or I would have bought more. Cruise ships confiscate your booze until the cruise is done. The girl on the pier said it's only available in Honduras, so you may want to look for it if you go there. I'm not a big fan of white rums so no idea there.
