This is the first rum from Agricole . Smell really nice but when you drink it taste very strong with a bit of spices.

Great nose but very sour initial agricole hit with almost no spice. Woodsy finish that improves the taste slightly but still not great.

For me its hard to make a proper description because of the alc%. Not an easy drink.

The smell of Martinique. Very good Agricole rum. I bought it from Fort De France Cruise terminal because all the shops were closed on Sunday. They sell it in higher price than the market even if suppose to be duty free.

Vanilla and flower aroma, molases and spices in body; pleasant tail

Very beautiful rum. It’s an aged rhum agricole so its sweetness is never so prominent. It’s very oaky in both nose and mouth with a bourbon like character that should please whisky drinkers. You can still feel the typical sugar cane taste of rhum agricole, but the aging process in bourbon barrels makes it less aggressive. It also has a sort of vanilla sweetness that makes this one an accessible rhum agricole, even to those who dislike the grassy taste of the younger ones. A fruity taste is also present, especially in the spicy and warm aftertaste. Surely a top quality and highly recommended martinican rhum agricole, my favourite of its kind

Personally, this is my favorite rhum. It is so unique when compared to anything else I've ever had (Rhum, rum, scotch, bourbon). I give it a nine, because I figure that one day I'll encounter the holy grail. The oak and grassiness is truly remarkable.

Nice warm aroma with some honey and fruits. Taste is sweet (for agricole with no added sugar) again with fruits, honey and flowers. Bur very fast turn in to a bitter taste on palate ans is a bit harsh (some extra aging could help). Aftertaste could be longer. 7.5 points

This is very short review - proportional to the volume of the glass and number of shots )

1. Rum JM XO 45°
Apples on nose, smooth, oaky. Very pleasant aftertaste.

2. Clairin 46.x°
Almonds, burnt sugar, rich and oily. Might be the most smooth out of Clairin range.

3. Damoiseau 66.9°
Rich, exotic taste, little ethanol kick. Somehow comparable to JM due to pronounced oak.

4. On desert: Abuelo XV
Just pure pleasure!

Scoring 9.5 for all of them. To be more precise and objective need 4 x 0.75L

Probabilmente il miglior xo che ho bevuto. Profumatissimo e morbido.
