Ce rhum est une pure merveille. Un nez épicé et complexe, une longueur en bouche impressionnante avec des épices, des fruits confits. Une superbe réussite.
This rum is a marvel. A spicy and complex nose, an impressive length in the mouth with spices, candied fruit. A superb success
Looks sweet but won’t leave a mark on the glass. Smell is incredible floral fruity and woodsy.
Taste: absolutely no burn perfectly balanced no burn at all. And the packaging: leather label, wood case .
What a big dilemma the Rhum J.M. Vintage 2001 really is. Nice and powerful smell, dry as one can imagine, but what an explosion of flavors and such a smooth finish. Rhum Agricole's are not my cup of tea, but if you like dry rums, then this will be an easy 9 score for you. After well over 1,300 aged rums later, it will be a 6 score for me due to dryness which is very typical for the Rhum Agricole.
Un rom agricol excelent. Aftertaste de vis, nuante foarte complexe, foarte bogate si persistente.
Un rom mai spirtos(46,3%) dar foarte bun. Arome plime de lemn, nucă.. Recomand "on the rocks"!
Un des rhums les plus agréables qu'il m'a été possible de boire!
très fruité et très épicé! très riche.
Je conseille fortement!
Strong in mouth, the kind of rum that you should take your time to appreciate straight up. A very spicy finish
Not very different than rum JM XO, I would say.
Rather spicy and a bit rough (same alcohol sensation as JM XO) but a little bit more complex in body and aftertaste.
Good agricole rum but don't worth the price, imho. I would choose the XO if I would have to, better trade-off.
The JM Millesimes 10 and 15 years are mind blowers. You have to drink them straight up by little sips to get to the richness of their taste.
It will last long in you mouth, it is not sweet and rather strong, not a rhum to begin with.
All the millesimes are "straight from the cask".
Color : Light brown
Flavour : Walnuts & pecans, brown sugar, leather, old wood & tobacco
Palate : Big bodied rhum
Aged 100% in re-charred Bourbon barrels, bottled at "cask strength".
Just great!!!
Very well done 10 years aged, long finish with some notes of black pepper. Remarkable.
