Bumbu XO

Prekvapujúco neprekvapil:-( čakal som rozdiel tried od jeho mladšieho brata ale dostal som iba väčšiu hutnosť a pikantný záver.

The taste of Bumbu didn't stand out as anything unique per se to me, I was hoping for something a little special considering the price, but it was a birthday present so no biggie I guess, no need to buy it again though. Gorgeous bottle though

When slightly chilled, very good, balanced. Attractive to the nose.Little bit nutty and toffee flavor. Long aftertaste from whiskey barrels. Overall very functional. Completely different class compared to the original bumbu. Goes to my top ones.

Good color. Nice aroma. Like to savour its taste. Well balance neither spicy or sweet.

I found bumbu for the first time in Captiva FL and enjoyed it as a first straight rum after many a mojito. The XO is great with a slice of lime and a big rock while sitting on the porch. The mix of fruity notes makes for a relaxing time.

The short time in the Sherry barrel really makes this taste.
I tend to think of it as a desert Sherry...I mean Rum.

Unlike it's banana brother, this one is actually a good sipper without being remarkable in any aspect. Still there are a far better rums in its price range.

Urcite lepsie ako original. Nie tak aromaticky, lahsi no zaroven mierne ostrejsi. Rozhodne vybalancovanejsi produkt ako origo (idealne skusit asi jedno po druhom). Super sipper, da sa pit cely vecer.

RO: un rom echilibrat ; da, este ; zaharul ars e cel care se simte cel mai pronuntat dar avem si vanilie si fructe in substrat. este dulce dar mult mai putin decat ma asteptam , fiind taiata din senzatia de dulce si de invaluirea alcoolului care isi face destul de clar simtita prezenta dar fara sa devina suparator
mi a depasit asteptarile )

EN: a balanced rum; Yes it is ; caramelized sugar is the one that feels the most pronounced, but we also have vanilla and fruit in the substrate. it is sweet but much less than I expected, being cut off from the sweet sensation also by the enveloping alcohol that makes its presence quite clearly but without becoming annoying
exceeded my expectations)
