Bumbu XO

Tastes OK, the aroma is nice and it’s smooth, but nothing special.

Love original bumbu so thought I’d try this was pretty disappointed as the spiced is so good this one just like so many other dark rums

As an avid rum and coke guy, I'm always willing to throw new spiced rums in the mix. To be honest, I don't like the XO over the standard bottle, but I still enjoy it. If asked, I'd say stick to the original for a nice caramel flavored rum and coke. To be fair, I haven't tried this straight. So, I can't speak to its ability to stand up on its own.

After the initial enthusiasm for the banana Bumbu (in my beginnings with rums), I bought this black brother XO without studying the reviews. After tasting, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. This is 100 and 1 and something completely different, I wasn't ready for that. Just oak and smoke and no pleasant smell. I sold the bottle to my brother-in-law. There is no hint of sweetness in it, both rums lack a golden mean ...

Po prvotním nadšení z banánového Bumbu (ve svých počátcích s rumy) jsem bez studování recenzí zakoupil i tohodle černého bratra XO. Po ochutnání jsem myslel, že budu mít infarkt. Tohle je 100 a 1 a úplně něco jiného, na to jsem nebyl připraven. Jen dub a kouř a žádná vůně. Láhev jsem prodal švagrovi. Není v něm ani náznak sladkosti, oběma rumům chybí zlatá střední cesta...

Bumbu XO - první setkání s Bumbu. Jemný. Ovocný, cítím vanilku.

I really don't like Bumbu original, but this is more...you know... rum.
It's not unique, but it is drinkable.

Truly one of the best rums at this proce point. Competes well against a Zacapa.

Bumbu xo really opened up my eyes for rum. A nice sweetness and a pleasant ending. So much better than the other Bumbu rums in my opinion.

Love the bumbo series.. good rum that's real tasty.

Silný a výrazný rum. K tomuhle asi ještě musím dozrát.
