I strongly believe it is worth every penny, better than many others with higher prices. Perfect for those who have already made their step further in rum tasting. Mild wood taste (for my palate) which I really like, proper slight sweetness and endless body. The aromas are extraordinary too.

Probably the best rum I have ever and likely one of the best available. This rum captures the essence of chairmen rums and their unique blends but is by far much smoother. The aroma is rich with hints of floral and then the welcoming first sip does not disappoint. Many complex blends , hints of grass, tobacco, Carmel, to name a couple and a smooth long finish . I will drink this one. A true rum with the soul and passion of the St Lucian people!

No, seriously! I couldn't wait anymore, so i finally opened it and am sipping from my precious, right now! Exactly what i expected and what certain charismatic individuals, such as Stefan Persson, already stated... This one is a step above, from the rest in the series! The aroma is to die for, it makes your mind go blank, i couldn't stop sniffing! Stronger too, maybe that 46% did the trick or something! Taste is something else, entirely! The aftertaste lingers for quite some time and fills your mouth with a multitude of flavors. It made me shed tears of joy! This is absolutely my No1 Rum ever and i swear, it is going to remain in that spot forever! The mastermind behind the blend, Evanius Harris (?), is an unparalleled genius. This is so good. Has a soft and agricole taste, with some mint and licorice candy. Very rich flavours and aftertaste is incredibly good and lasts a long time, which reminds me a bit of Jamaican rums but more subtle, more fresh and grassy.

the aroma is a sweet vanilla noted caramel, taste is a very clean clear highly recommended

If you are into cognac you will like this rum. Not a rum from beginners. I really enjoyed it.

Deep and rich. Nice mellow finish. One of the best Valentines gifts ever!

Outstanding stuff here. A top 10 rum for me without question. Strong cinnamon and oak overtones. Molasses and black pepper in the background. Sultana, fig and faint caramel notes too. Not sweet. Nice alcohol bite, very smooth and crisp but immediately fades to velvet sipping pleasure on the pallet. Deep, thick and complex with superb balance. Slightly dry. Great neat or on ice. I prefer this neat. I enjoyed every sip.

This rum needs a chair! Not for the average rum drinker. Heavy shit. My wife says it smells bad! I love it! Quite pricy but more than worth. Call it a senior

Fantastic array of flavours. Smooth enough but still packs a punch. Needs to grow on you. Solid 8.5 so I'm being generous with a 9.
