Un rhum intéressant avec un très bon bouquet. Très belle couleur jaune thé. Épicé et légèrement amer. Puissant et complexe. Ne vaut pas les vintages de la marque. Du vrai rhum de capitaine... à emmener dans un navire.

This rum is great. Smells of oak, fruit, and some spice. Taste is short lived, and has a dry bite to it with some oak char.

Well, it's my first agricole rhum ever, so I might be not that useful in terms of professional opinion. The flavour is good, it is sugar cane all over the nose. You can imagine the taste would follow the mood, but it is not that cheerful. Maybe some harsh notes, too much spirits, it's 43˚ alcohol in the end of the day, so it figures. I am personally very tolerant for strong drinks, and it doesn't bother me much, but I haven't find the depth of the taste I had high hopes for. Will taste it later for sure, hope I'll get the gist of this particular liquor in the nearest future and change my mind for the better.

My personal score for this rhum agricole is about 64-65 out of 100, so I rate it 6/10 for now.

Interesting and different tase. Little bit to strong.

Slight sweetness in nose with a surprising and intense oaky, peppery and spicy note of burning taste.

It's not the best JM out there but it's well done and anyway. XO is certainly a best choice

I wanted to switch things up from my normal mai tai recipe (using Clement VSOP), and this provided a beautiful balance to it. On its own, it's got a nice clean flavor, not too sharp and not overpoweringly of sour fruit, but that is definitely there.

Love how it reminds of diplomatico reserva exclusiva

light agricole grassy notes on the nose - some honey notes can be found.
Taste is elegant sweet fruitiness on mid-palate with some sour notes
medium length drying finish
complex enough as a sipper
