I have several rum that are far superior but in a pinch I would still enjoy sipping this rum.

Superior, but only after you finish your 3th and a half glass.

Yeah friday night after work is done, you just want to drink a quick rum and coke. A moment i enjoy week after week, and this Brugal is just perfect for that : )

At a price of 15€ is a best alternative in this price. Woody style and for me, too sweet. Is a good combination in a cocktail.

This is a decent Rum aged in Bourbon Oak Barrels. It won’t ‘WOW’ you, as the flavor is sweet, not well balanced. I only like this with a Coke. Not a great rum flavor, but will hit the mark. A little of the bourbon flavors come through.

Indeed, this rum is more for sharing in a party than enjoy the taste alone with a cigar.

Rum tasting during the global lockdown continued with Brugal Añejo 5y. Very nice bottle and label design for such a cheap rum at $23 a bottle. Light golden color. Strong oak mixed with plenty of vanilla and oh so much unaged alcohol to your palate. Harsh burn if not mixed.

yeah good for mix with cokce or juice or whatever, there is a little different then standard bar rums like HC or BC, CM, it is tasty, good to try for feel difference between this rum class

In this price range, a "good value for money" rum. It's good for a nice "rum and coke".
