Au nez, notes sucrées et fleuries.
A la dégustation, l'alcool est prédominant pour laisser très peu de longueur en bouche.
Pas trop sec ni trop sucré.
OK pour découvrir mais je n'achèterais pas 1 bouteille

Smooth vanilla taste - sometimes it tastes just a little - like watered down. It‘s not a great rum but not a bad one either. I think it fits to chocolate

At first hardly any nose but it opens up nicely in 10-15 minutes. Typical rum flavours; vanilla, various fruits and some oak are present. On the palate this carries on and the fruit becomes mostly cherry. A slight bitter (coffee) also pops up and this goes really well with the (soft) oak.

Well made rum and a pleasant sip but all in all not that special. Semi dry but it nevers feels too sweet and drinks almost like a dry rum (thanks to the bitter I guess) though I think the rum is good enough to leave the sugar out. Well balanced.

Venezuela is most known for the Diplomatico-brand, but it is a country with more to offer for the rum world, but you might want to go looking for something else than this one.

Nose: Oak, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and dried apricots
Taste: Caramel, oak, vanilla, cinnamon and a slight feel of cocoa in the aftertaste
Overall: This is somehow a rum like Diplomatico, but without any character if that is possible. It might help scratch the itch if you have nothing else, but it is not, in any way, a special rum.

Nose: rather shy, some spices maybe, and some greetings from the barrel, but not much of interest (tasted in both tulip glass and tumbler)
Palate: rather dry and harsh, leaves some burn on the tongue. Poor body and volume. I miss smoothness and balance.

Classical nose, on palate not dissapointing as well. Not sweet, vanilla, coffee, cocoa.

Schönes sattes Bernstein mit Kupferreflektionen im Glas.
In der Nase sehr frisch und vielschichtig. Da gibt's Nüsse in Karamell, leicht faule Früchte in Vanillesauce, leicht harziges Holz mit dezenten Lakritze und Kardamom Nuancen, weisse Früchte mit frisch geschnittenem Zuckerrohr.
Im Gaumen ein elegantes leicht süssliches Auftreten. Getoastete und Karamellisierte Hölzer reichen frisch gepflückte tropische Früchte dar, frisch gepresstes Zuckerrohr mit Vanille mit Gewürzen runden das ganze ab.
Im Abgang weicht die schärfe einer angenehmen Süsse, begleitet vom Karamell und Holz.
Ein leckerer Rum mit dezenter Süsse. Für Einsteiger und Geniesser. 7+

Nice rich amber with copper reflections in the glass.
In the nose very fresh and complex. There are nuts in caramel, slightly rotten fruit in vanilla sauce, slightly resinous wood with subtle liquorice and cardamom nuances, white fruit with freshly cut sugar cane.
On the palate an elegant slightly sweetish appearance. Toasted and caramelised woods are served with freshly picked tropical fruits, freshly pressed sugar cane with vanilla with spices round off the whole.
In the finish the spiciness gives way to a pleasant sweetness, accompanied by caramel and wood.
A delicious rum with a subtle sweetness. For beginners and connoisseurs. 7+
