Beau rhum de dégustation, beau nez, bon en bouche et une belle finale. J'espère trouver le 12 ans pour y goûter.

It surprises me that people will pan this um at the price we pay. Were it a $50 rum I could see hem complaining but we all know why we drink our rum, taste and smoothness. This rum has both for such a cheap sipping rum.
Taste: Hints of caramel and vanilla, an oaky finish with a slight floral back taste of honey. True, it is sweet, but some people prefer that in a sipper, so why do those who don't care for a sweet sipper feel they need to put down every sweet rum? Get over it, rate your type of rum and stay away from sweet sippers.
Smoothness: Yes, this is referred to as a "blend of rums aged up to 16 years" but it is VERY smooth, so whether it be 8, 12, 16 years, does the number matter when the rum is smooth?

For the price, a great sipper.

Yes. It’s a lot less sweet than the 12yr but still very generous in the vanilla and butterscotch department. Overall, still not my cup of tea but decent if you’re in a bind.

Smooth, sweet notes of caramel and vanilla. While it's not as good as the 12 year, it still goes great with cola.

Honestly never heard of the brand till I went out on the town with a couple friends, the taste has some strong tobacco & citrus notes but I really enjoyed it mixed with coke and lime (my common drink of choice) 7/10 would drink again, but would choose out other top rums I'd available. Not a bad choice t all.

As everyone else in the world has stated, this rum is very vanilla-ish. Fortunately for me, I do like vanilla a lot so I didn't hate this. In fact, I liked it a reasonable amount but it was way closer to being a vanilla flavored rum as opposed to a rum with a hint of vanilla. It smells like vanilla. It tastes like vanilla and I am almost convinced it was just a bottle of vanilla extract with rum extract in it. Was it good? It was vanilla. Was it bad? It was vanilla. Is it good for the price? Vanilla. Would I drink it again? Vanilla. Was there any unwanted burn or bite to it? Vanilla. Is it the most vanilla vanilla that ever vanilla'd? Vanilla. Did I mention vanilla? Vanilla. Vanilla? Vanilla...

This Siva sipper, but only with the right food pairing or after I've had a few of something else. The banana smell and taste is overwhelming, but I'm not a huge banana fan so ymmv.

This is a pretty good run for sipping or mixing. You can definitely taste caramel and it is very smooth. The price is a little high for this rum; there are other rums cheaper and better. I really like Zaya rum and I recommend it..

I do enjoy exploring the rum world. So, it's not uncommon to be disappointed once in a while as I have with this one. What they're using to age their rum is unknown even in the taste. Or maybe they're using 1oz of 16yr old with garbage they can't sell. Typical con job is all I can say. I cringe just thinking about how much added sugar they put in it. The flavors all seem artificial expect the sugar. Steer a wide berth! Oh, and it came with an ice cube tray that had some kind of tape inside and could not get it out so that made it to the garbage pretty fast. The rum is not far behind!

I thought this was decent. Definitely overpriced for what you get. But it really wasn’t THAT bad. Smelled good and sweet. Bit of a burn.
